The first-place winners in all three categories will appear in the February 2026 issue of Down East magazine! Winners also receive:

• A one-year gift subscription to Down East magazine

Submissions are open until 11:59 P.M. ET on Sunday, November 30. You may submit as many photos in as many categories as you like. The entry fee is $5 per photo. Twenty-five percent of submission fees will be donated to the Houlton Humane Society. By entering the Down East Cutest Pets Photo Contest, you confirm acceptance of the guidelines found here. Winners will be notified in December 2025, and their photos will be published in the February 2026 issue of Down East magazine. Due to print deadlines, winners must respond within 48 hours of receiving notification that they’ve won; otherwise, we will contact the runner-up.
